Add-In For PowerPoint 2008

The InsertPicture
add-in is not available for PowerPoint 2008
Why Not?
Visual
Basic For Applications (VBA) was removed from Office 2008
VBA and
Applescript are the two programming languages used by the add-in.
Without VBA, add-ins can not be created or run in Office 2008.
Microsoft has
publicly announced that VBA will be restored in the next major release
of Mac Office, but it will not be restored to Office 2008.
If Microsoft
restores all the missing features, the current add-in will work in the
next version.
Other
features removed from Office 2008 that are used by the add-in:
TWAIN Support - The
ability to use a scanner directly into PowerPoint
Slide Preview
Microsoft has
not indicated whether it will restore these features. If both features
are not restored, then a new version of the add-in will be required.
If you use these features, please click
here to send a message to Microsoft requesting that these features
be restored.
