Installation Instructions for GrayScaleTool For PowerPoint 2003 on Microsoft Windows

Double-click the GSToolbarV1.zip file that was downloaded to automatically create GSToolbarV1.ppa, which is the add-in file.

The add-in will work in any file location. Save it to a directory location that you can remember. Then activate the add-in.

Activation

To activate the add-in:

1. Open PowerPoint
2. From the TOOLS menu choose OPTIONS
3. On the SECURITY tab click the MACRO SECURITY button
4. On the SECURITY LEVEL tab click the MEDIUM button
5. Click OK and then another OK
6. From the TOOLS menu choose ADD-INS
7. Click ADD NEW
8. Navigate to the file location that you put the add-in
9. Select GSToolabrV1.ppa
10. Click OPEN
11. Click ENABLE MACROS
12. Click OK

You should immediately see a new six-button toolbar appear. This toolbar is the add-in.

Deactivation

To remove the add-in

1. Open PowerPoint
2. From the Tools menu choose Add-Ins
3. Select the Add-in
4. Click REMOVE
5. Click OK

To completely remove the add-in from your computer, deactivate the add-in then drag the add-in file into the recycle bin, and then empty the trash. The add-in consists of a single file. It does not make any preference files or hidden files.

Privacy

GrayScaleTool does not use the internet. It creates no hidden files or preference files nor does it receive or transmit any information to or from your computer.
